lt4 springs and vortecs
Can you use lt4 valve springs on votrec heads without machining them? ANd would the lt4's be enough for an lt4 hotcam?

There is no way around machining vortecs for the hotcams lift even if the springs fit the pockets.The retainers will hit the valve guides.

That appears to be correct, the trick is the different retainers that are made for extra clearance...
