Which headers!

I'm looking to get a complete exchuast system redone, from headers to the tail, whats your reccomendation. I got a gutted cat and its making alot of noise which is really bothering me. I got the stock 305 TPI with dual outlets, 2.5 all through. I'm thinking 3" with a high flow cat. Possibly the dynomax cat-back with 3" high flow CC, but what headers and is there a setup which comes with a Y-pip which is not too much. On average whats the total I will end up spending you think.

what ive heard

ive heard that the best are the slp's but they're a little pricey, you can get the edelbrock for less and they're still really good, a lot of people have them and havent had any complaints. Plus you can get them already polished/coated. Exhaust...just about anything would be good, depends on how much you want to spend and what sound youre looking for. hope that helped.

I'm thinking not too much money! You think a 2.5 or 2.25 is a good set up or should I just go with a 3". I really just need a new CC right now, w/ some headers.

if you want...

im not sure about the headers cause ive never heard anything about them but the exhaust doesnt sound too bad at that price, especially if you dont really care about sound, performance is questionable. as for the cat i would look into a highflow, dont buy a new stock one, it really will conflict with you new exhaust, itll still work by all means but the high flow ones are just as good but flow a lot better.

Unless you can Find the edlebrocks Used for Cheap, Get the SLP's

No point in spending money on inferior Stuff, and they arent **that** Much Cheaper.

Run dual cat's with a flowmaster ypipe after the Cats, Into a single 3" Catback of your choice, they all flow about the same.

Thats the setup Ed is Running, and we all know he is the stock LB9 guy-to-beat around here
