header question

I have heard mixed reviews on the edelbrock headers and have heard that the hooker headers are better. does it really matter which ones I install? should I get shorty headers or long tubes? Also how hard are they to install? Thanks for the help. :hail: Car is in sig.

i have the hookers and i will say one thing...make sure you get the kit with the y-pipe for the headers. i have had 3 different y-pipe bent for me and none so far seem to seal very good. also the edelbrocks have the donut style gasket, which IMO is better than the 3 bolt type flange. i think that you can get the hookers (lol) with the appropriate y-pipe for them, but you cant buy the y-pipr by itself if you have the headers only, this is where i got screwed, something about a different design and it wouldnt match up.
