stealth ram owners inside please!
stealth ram owners inside please!
dont worry...its not another annoying question...i hope...the reason i posted is because when i went to my local speed shop for prices the guy called holley and they apparently told him that there hadnt been any manufactured yet or something to that effect. i told him that i knew people that already had them and that id find out where they got them. this matters because hes part of sema and if holley is giving them to some shops and not others then its a big prob or something like that, but its important so i appriciate your help. if you would just reply with where you got it and the part numbers or anything else relevent, thanks.

Smaster, man i'm envious. I've got the manifold installed on my car but I'm still waiting on the fuel rails. I've been in contact with fonse performance and Doug F at holley, and it looks like I'll have mine for sure to install when I go home next weekend.
Any comments on the setup?

He called his supplier who said one of those was an old part number for a BBC intake. I told him those were the correct part numbers and showed him a picture in his Holley catalog but that part number was for a complete kit including ECM, wiring, etc. On Wednesday afternoon I stopped in and he said he was waiting for a call back. He called again, (I don't know who is supplier is) and the guy said there was ONE on the shelf at Holley and the fuel rail kit was is stock too. He said it would be $330.00 for the intake and $170.00 for the fuel rail kit. I knew it was higher than Summit but I like ordering from local shops when I can. On Friday I called and he said it was there. On Sunday it was installed.

To the other questions, it's coming along pretty good. Tuning has been a pain since it rains all the time. I was WAY lean at higher RPM's after the Stealth Ram install. Getting all lined out now. As far as which heads, etc.
383 SBC (Stroked 350)
638 .030 over 1990 or so roller block, zero decked
Scat 3.75 crank
Eagle 5.7 rods
SRP 11:1 pistons (flat tops)
Comp Cams 8-412-8, .487/.495 264/270 110LC
Comp cams timing gear and chain
TrickFlow 23 degree aluminum heads w/.039 quench
1.5 Harland Sharp roller rockers (Need 1.6's maybe?)
Holley Stealth Ram intake
58mm BBK throttle body
Huge K&N filter, 3" SS pipe, in and out of the MAF
30# injectors, 43#
730 Speed Density ECM w/custom PROM, (burning my own with Tunercat)
373 gears with 295/50/15 rear tires
A 700r4 that's been modified and shifts great
Hooker full length headers with 3" all the way through dual
two chamber 40 series Flowmasters
4100# GMC Pickup w/driver
Smasterson-- any track times, with and or without the stealth ram, how about dyno #s im interested as to what power you got with your 383 and 11.1 compression to my 383 with about 10.1 compression with my mini ram. thank man

Yeah I've know John and his brother for about 12 years now, bopth real good people. So what hood do you have right now and how was the fit? Looked like a Bird from the pics I saw, probably 85-87 model. Maybe I could get a look under the hood on the weekend since we live so close. I go to Franklin Cycle on nice Sat's once or twice a month.
