going with somthing else...

i was thinking about stroking my 350 to 383 but i dont know if i want that much, so i found a 350 block, bored .030 over and it comes w/ a complete rebuild kit and head's and crank for $400 dollar's, this could be a good block, im thinking putting forged pistons in it, bigger cam and better flowing heads along with ported base, runners, and plenum, bigger injectors, and maybe a 52mm TB, and some 1.6 roller rockers i want to run at least mid 13's in the quarter if not high to mid 12's so my question is what cam, heads and RR's do you guys suggest for this settup???
Thanks for your help -Don

P.S. dont worry im looking into a new rearend and gears as well as a aluminum driveshaft and a new tranny

1.6's in themselves dont entitle you to more horsepower persay if your cam is still a variable. If its lift you want, and you dont already own the cam, BUY MORE LIFT!

As far as what heads you're opening up pandoras box, and you'll get hit upside the head by endless members with AFR's and a Hotcam

Its a solid combo, you could even go bigger on the cam....

how much money do you have to play with?
