White Smoke

Recently, every time I start up my car, these nice big white clouds of smoke come out the pipes in the back, and if I have the windows down you can definitly smell gasoline. It only smokes about for less than 5 seconds after start up, what could this be? Could it be burning too rich??

Yup

a rich smoke is black so dunno what the gasoline is about, but white smoke is coolant.

5 seconds from the start doesn't sound too serious problem to me. once i had head gasket failure and it was very clearly visible as long as there was coolant on the engine just drive around and take a look at coolant level sometimes.
