Swap LT1 heads to L98 engine?????

I know that the LT1 heads use what is called reverse flow for water coolant. Are they chambered to work when installed on an older 350 with cooling through the water neck on the intake?

Nope, you would need to do some pretty major work to make the LT1 heads work with a traditional cooling system. It can be done, but its expensive. There is a tech article some where on how to do it.

What about the Vortec heads you have on your car? Did you bolt them to your original 350 block? Also what intake do you have?

Vortec heads bolt right up to a tradtional SBC. They have a different intake ports and bolt patterns so they need a special intake. I have Soggin Dickey's TPI intake base. (SDPC2000.com)
