HELP!! have a wire disconnected, sensor maybe???

well there is a plug that goes into my head or block i cant remember which now, but anyways there is a sensor or somthing screwed into it its on the passenger side so i dont think its the temp. sensor but there was a wire comming out of the wiring harnest that and it wassent hooked up to anything i assume it goes to this sensor PLEASE HELP!!!! thanks -Don

there is only a knock sensor and a temp sensor on the passenger side of the engine. the lower snesor in the block is the knock sensor and the one in the head is the temp sensor. i believe both of these sensors have the same style plug that goes on it. have you been driving the car without it plugged in. what is the temp been at on the engine

no havent been driving it, still putting my starter in but i thought the temp sensor was in the driver's side head i put some kind of sensor in there maybe it was somthing else

im sorry the sensor in the pass head is the coolant fan switch.

weeeeeeeeee yeah i read the f.a.q. on this site and figured that out yay for me thats prolly why my secondary fan wassent kicking on and my car was overheating
