hey fellas.. im thinkin about gettin some new heads for my 305... i am lookin at either l98 heads or the S/R Torquer... i want my car to play nice on the street and whenever i go to the track... let it roar....i like the l98s because there lighter...but i dunno what do u guys think?... and dont spit the flames on this one... i wana 350 too...but it aint happing now... later later... but right now... makin it with what i got.... ima same the 383 for the "project"... aight thanks fellas peace
L98's aren't such a good choice, you might get better flow (in small amounts) but you'll loose compression to the higher combustion chamber size.
Get aluminum L98's if anything
S/R torquers are a Stock Replacement

for the price, the Chevy Vortec heads can't be beat. You will have to change your intake to work with the vortec's. Check out this link:

thats what i ment the corvette alum. l98 heads for the 58cc chamber... ima have to go look for them in a junk yard... is that really what s/r means? i didnt know that... but i did know that mustang is really Messed Up Sh*t That Aint No Good
