A/c Compressor and Smog pump Removal

I am removing my A/c compressor and smog pump on my '88 TPI 305 and am wondering if anyone that has done this what belt length I will need. I am not planning on using an A/C delete pulley. Thanks!

I routed the belt around the tensioner on the ribbed side. It seems to work fine and my belt was I think 83.5", but I'm not totally sure.

I have an L98 so I don't know if they are the same. The hardest thing was getting the brace from the header bolt off, otherwise, it was fairly easy. My belt was 83.5 also, but I'm not sure if they are the same like I said earlier. Good luck!!

If you're serpentine you should need a 96.8 inch belt. Go to the tech articles and you'll find the dayco p/n. If you don't want a dayco belt the shop should be able to cross reference.
