What do I need to change about this set up!?

Hello 3rd geners! I have always thought that these cars were the coolest, and with loads of potential. Well I finally found one with some good parts on it so I bought it. Here is the setup, if anyone can shed some light on the first things I need to change I would greatly appriciate it!! 1989 Iroc, 406 with super ram, trick flow 23degree heads, mystery cam?, SLP 1 3/4 headers. 1000cfm throttle body, tpis modified stock mass air sensor, 24lb SVO injectors. Custom Prom by ED WRIGHT. Tremec TKO tranny, Moser 12 bolt with 3:73's. The car seems to have alot of torque, but just doesn't pull that hard. G-tech shows low 14's Do I need to switch to speed density? Is the only draw back to mass air the restrictive sensor? Am I crazy to think this setup should get me low 12's? Do I need bigger injectors? Please help, I don't want to but it's almost carb time. The car has cruise and A/C, looks stock, so I'd hate to ditch the injection. I've got $7000 in this car the way it sits(I've done nothing to it), did I get taken? Where do I go from here?

i'd find out what cam you're running, its hard to believe that if its tuned properly that it doesnt pull hard. super ram set up should work great on that engine. keep those injectors. take it to the real track and run it then come back and let us know what you ran and we can make suggestions from there. sounds like you got a solid motor though!

also, i'd stay with the mass air flow too, more effiecent i think, you just cant slap an air filter right to the throttle body which i think looks pretty cool.
