Computer cleared the codes on it own?

Ok, I'm having some sort of fuel pump problem. Read about it here. So for the hell of it I thought I'd see if it had come up with any new codes. Nothing. Just 12 over and over again. Not bad, but the thing is I should have a code 21, 34, and 44 in there. I throws the 44 after I've been driving like 45 mins or more. the 21 came from when I was testing the TPS, and the 34 came on randomly after I pulled my plugs to read them, but never came back. I know I should of cleared them, but I never did. But now they're gone? I never disconnected the battery and it never needed a jump or anything. Is this a sign of a bad ECM, or maybe the bugged '86 prom? I've never checked to see what prom I have but it is an 86 5.0 TPI..

The codes will be automatically cleared after a fixed number of restarts with no reacurance of the code. I am not sure what that restart number is.

I think it's like 60 restarts without the symptom and the ECM
will clear the code.

Does that mean sucessful starts? Because I've probably tried to start it like 150 times in the past 2 days. I think I've come to the conclusion my FP is dead though..

Yes that would be actual starting of the car. I just read your
other thread and if you pulled the ecm fuse the codes would have
cleared.

Well I've since done that. But honestly, I hadn't messed with the wiring at all when I noticed the codes cleared themselvs. And my fan is coming on now. I'm stumped. And I need a new fuel pump..
