After conversion problem

I converted my 92rs to speed density tpi but i left the original fan setup in it but did replace the fan switch. my fan now waits till like 240 to come on and it really freaks me out. could this be because i do not have my vss hooked up??? i have my single fan with all four wires on the harness going to it. Am i missing something?

I dont believe the VSS is goign to have anything to do with your fan coming on at a later temp.

What chip did you use for your conversion? Did someone burn it for you, or did you use a stock one?

For best results, you should reprogram your EPROM so that the fans come on at a lower temp, among other things.
