? for ppl w/ ignition boxes
? for ppl w/ ignition boxes
Did your ign box ever cause your timing to be outta wack when it gets hot.Been having timing problems when IROC gets up to 220 degrees when stuck in traffic.Disconnected HI-6S box and problem went away.Thinking of hooking it back up to see if problem comes back.

You found it huh?
The ignition box may be bad. Gets hot and goes crazy.
Don't know though, I have never messed with aftermarket
ignition before.
If you can, try to mount the ignition box in a cooler location.
Mabe even lengthen the harness for it and move it inside the
car to keep it cool as you drive the car around. If keeping it
cool solves the problem then mount it under the dash or some
place inside the car.
