Engine: lt1 intaked 355 makin 277 on 25 psi of fuel pressure and stock timing :)
Transmission: A4 stock... that moved a mobile dyno a foot shifting into 2nd :)
balancing motor

ok i am building a 355 and everything i have has been balanced as a set.... i.e. rods all weigh the same but do i really need 2 balance the whole rotating assembly? please help in a TPI car so not gonna get too high of revs.....

yes you REALLY need to balance the rotating assembly.

Balancing the whole rotating assy. includes weight matching the pistons, and rods. After the rods/pistons are weight matched the weight of the rings and berrings plus the weight of the pistons/rods and then that ammount of weight is put on the crank and the machinest grinds or welds material to the crank/balancer/and flywheel


It is really better to balance the whole assy. it normally doesn't cost too much when weighed to it's advantages. I paid $150 to have my assy. computer balanced.
