UPON PUTTING MY CAR BACK TOGETHER I CAME ACROSS SOME KINDA VALVE ON THE BACK O THE PLENUM ON THE PASSENGERS SIDE THAT IS NOT CONNECTED TO ANYTHING...I LOOKED IN THE CHILTONS MANUAL AND ALL I COULD COME UP ITH IS THAT ITS AN ATTACHMENT FOR A VACUUM HOSE THAT GOES TO 'HVAC'..CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT AND TELL ME WHAT GOES WHERE???

 

ok i just put mine on as well...now mine is an 86 but this is my layout...there is one port on the drivers side...and 2 on the pass side...one of those one the pass side goes to your FPR the other(at lest on mine) was routed around the dist and i think went to the charcole canister....you should be able to tell from the size of the tubin what goes where as the FPR hose is smaller that the other...i know its kinda vague but i hope it helps

 

One hose for that comes off one of the nipples on the pass rear plenum.
Another hose goes to the cruise control
The last hose goes to the hvac control.

 

WHERE DO THE HVAC AND CRUISE CONTROL HOSES COME FROM OR WHERE DO THEY RUN THROUGH? tHE PROBLEM I'M HAVING IS I CANNOT FIND THE HOSES SINCE I PUT EVERYTHING BACK TOGETHER.

Can't get any stupid edited pictures to come over sooooo here we go.
That valve has 3 nipples.
2 on the ends and one in the middle.
1 of the end nipples attaches to a nipple on the rear pass plenum.
The other nipple attaches to a hose that comes out of a mess of wires encased in convoluted tubing at the firewall. Where it goes from there I'm not sure.
The third nipple on the valve (middle) goes along the firewall to the drivers side fender, then follows the fender up to the cruise control diaphragm. That I have a picture of. It's the blue hose.
