More concerns on fuel pressure...

Well, I officially can't get my accel AFPR to go below 49 psi. Does anyone else have this problem? I can't decide if this is hurting my WOT performance or not (It puts my BLM's at around 120)? When I go to WOT and the ecm switches to open loop, utilizing the preprogramed fuel tables, does it still consider the BLM's? In other words, when my BLM's are at 120 and I floor it, would my car run rich becasue my BLM's are off of the 128 norm? Or does my ecm know to take fuel out of the WOT tables to account for the high BLM's? Hmmmmmmm, anyone?

Your WOT VE tables are non adjustable, So No the BLM don't have anything to do w/ it.

Only Way to know if your rich / lean at WOT is a wideband o2.

$hitty, I guess that is why it's best to have them centered at 128. Thanks for the post anyways bort.

Has anyone had any relavent experinces with a shady accel afpr that refuses to go below 49 psi? I would love to have one that's actually 'adjustable'. Just to make sure I am not a complete idiot, you loosen the bolt to lower the pressure, right?

Thanks

I have an accel afpr that works fine, and yes you "loosen" the screw to decrease pressure.
You may want to take it back off and make sure nothing got inside that is jamming it up and make sure the spring is sitting in there properly.

yeah that seems to be a sympton of a bad diaphragm or something of the sort. something inside the regulator isnt allowing you to "regulate" the flow..
