Should i buy a air foil????

Has anyone bought a air foil for their TPI. Let me know what you thought about the air foil. Do you think its worth the $50.00 or should i save my money toward something else.

they dont give much of a power increase. i did this along with a few other free mods and gained practiclly nothing. however, if you never plan on going bigger than the stock TB, i would get it, as the design does smooth airflow. this mod falls into the "every little bit helps" catagory. if youre looking for a noticable power increase, do some exhaust work, the factory system is very restrictive

the exaust is already done. cat back with flowmaster muffler. i am planning on getting another tb maybe a 54 or 58 mm. so you don't think its worth getting with the stock 48 on it.

The airfoil showed a 1hp gain on an LT1. Its not worth $50. Check ebay and see if you can get one at half the price if it makes you happy to have it. Also, you say you plan on going to a 52 or 58MM TB. most aftermarket TB's already have one built into them. And a 58MM TB is usless unless you have a lot of horsepower.

If you're going to spend money on one, get eth SLP. It's the cheapest at $26 last time i checked, and will work just as well as any of the high dollar ones.
