i got beat by an 87 305 lg4 the mods done to that car were 350 tpi exhaust edelbrock intake and a holly 600 carb. my mods are 86 305 tpi hypertech chip k@n 8.8 mm airfoil no cat free flow muffler
anyone no what i should be running in the q mile i got the 3.42 gears thanks

No, what he said is that HE has a tpi 305 and the other guy has 305 w/carb. Now let me see if I have this right, the other guy had manifolds from a tpi 350?

Also, you might want to put some comma's in there. Just by looking at it people MIGHT think your crazy saying you have a "hypertech chip k@n 8.8 mm airfoil no cat free flow muffler". That must be one bad *** muffler! Sorry but I just had to say that.

The only thing that I can think of is that he is running a little more free flowing than you. He's already modified his intake system so that brings up another question, what else has been modified that he is not telling you?

Seeing as how he ran near a 15 flat I'd assume he at least has a cam in there... Most LG4's were huge dogs and it was mostly because of the cam... certainly the TBI didn't help but still... Either that or he is hooking and you aren't... Not sure how reliable it is to compare G-tech vs G-tech, I assume you used the same one, if so, you were definately spinning and he wasn't judging by your traps and times. You should be running pretty close to him... But like I said he probably does have a cam..
