Define 'pull'
Off the bat guess? No. You'd probably be faster shifting earlier than that. It wont be dying off like a stock TPI at that RPM though, which will be helpful for the 1-2 transition if its an auto trans. It'll also be dependant on the heads, cam, and exhaust.

How are you guys getting your stock tpi's to pull 5000-5500? I've had two, an 86 305 and now an 87 350. Both start dying off at about 4250.Has siamising the base netted you any gains in ET?

If I use that combo it will be ran with vortech heads and full exhaust. Will Siamising the SLP Runners help because I don't want to cut into the manifold. Also anyone have a good cam for a set up like this.

The combination that I have makes max power at 4800 RPM but it hangs in there power wise all the way to 5700 RPM. After the power peak at 4800 RPM the engine almost holds flat on the HP curve until I stopped testing at 5700 RPM. At 5700 RPM I was still holding 232 RWHP. The ZZ-4 cam that I use works very well with my 305.

- cold air to the fender well
- pullies
- ported plenum
- Jacobs Ultra Team
The car is a '91 Formula with LB9, N10, stick, etc. The SLP runners and Vortec base (Scoggins-Dickey ?) will mean vortec heads and that combo with the right exhaust would make REAL power beyond 6k -- IMO.
thx,
RP.
