question about rear-end..pleae read

First of all, i know i have a problem with my rear-end. If you place each one of your hands on each side of one of my rear wheels and move it back and forth there is some 'play' somewhere in the rear-end that makes a 'clunking' noise. Now this can be done on both drivers and passengers side rear wheels. I'm thinking along the lines of bearings????? Also, my car is an 89 iroc 305 auto...did this come with a posi rear-end???, because both of my tires spin.

Since im here..does anyone know some formulas for what a 305 becomes when you bore it over???

woobly rear?

If you are taking about the wheel moving in and out slightly toward and away from you when standing in front of it, this is pretty normal for C-clip rear ends. If you have side to side or up and down wobble or if you have a clicking in the rear when you turn the tires then you probably have some bearing issues.
