Well, took my worn out modded 305 to the track. Running a T56/3.42 combo right now with street tires. Here's my times

60'= 2.25
1/8= 9.44 @ 76mph
1/4= 14.6 @ 95mph


How's this for my 305. It has 160k on it and mods are on my website. Still working on the L98 hotcam project. Let me hear some feedback! Thanks

 

That is a really nice car. Makes me wish I was home so I could drive my 91 ta. Those are good times also. I haven't been to the track yet but I know I am no where near your times.

 

I'd say that's about right. I have a 305TPI 5-speed and 3.45 BW POSI and I run 14.6 1/4 mile

Your up there with a stock L98, I also ran 14.6 on mine, That's really a good time for a 305, You'll be happy when you get your L98 together, you got a sleeping beast waiting to woke up with that combo, let us know how your progress is going.

I pull 1.99 60" and run 14.45@94.93mph. I have an auto with 2.73 posi.

 

i have a 350 tpi, auto, 3.23 and i run 14.5 and 2.04 60 foot

i have a 1989 ta with a 305 tpi mods and times in sig
when i ran these times the car was runnig like crap also
i sould be somewherre near 14.5 on a good day

 

My 60's are 2.1 on my best one. it was a 2.2 when I ran the 14.6 though. usually a 2.2 or 2.3

My best on the 305 was 14.6, don't remember the mph. That was with bad compression and bad 60' times (2.3). 87 iroc automatic. A 350 took it's place last month.

 

Not bad times. My 91 305 tpi ran 14.8 at 93.6 mph with an auto and 2.73 posi. All I really have done to the car is exhast and K&N's. Hopefully by the end of summer I will have it in the low 14's maybe 13flat with my 350.

14.6 @96 with headers, chip, 90+k miles 305 5spd 2.2x 60', some guys run a bit quicker than you with the SD cars(low 14s), but probably a lot less milage so. Good job.
