Looking at an '89 IROC
I've been looking for an IROC for QUITE some time. I have found an '89 IROC with the L98 and 700R4. I know what options I want, but are there any options that I may need to look for?
I definately know I want
-power windows/locks/rear hatch
-4 wheel disc
This IROC has 'em. Only thing it doesn't have is T-Tops... a feature I'd love, but can live without, especially since this IROC has a 350.
Is there anything else I should look for in an IROC tha is hard to come by or that is essential to peak stock performance?

to be honest i would go with it, harder options to find will drive the price u[ and may have been added by the previous owner, not factory. if your happy with it buy it.
just make sure you check for collision repair, repainting, leaks and missing interior panels like under the dash, anything that maybe an issue after you have the car. mine has or had most of these issues but i knew what i was getting so i wasnt surprised.

Yeah, Marv passed away a while back... Sad.
Hopefully I can sell the GTZ soon in order to buy an IROC. Know anyone that wants a '93 GTZ that pulls 14's?

Um, actually T-Tops and 350s were produced. It's 91-92 where they seemed to dissappear, though I believe on the History board very few have been verified.

I'd buy it man, I've had two IROC's an 86 lb9 without t-tops and my current 87 l98 with t-tops. I'd much rather have a non t-top car personally. They are more rigid and never leak.

I have an 89 Iroc. Has a 350, ZZ4 heads, LT1 intake, 1.6 roller rockers, BBK throttle body, T-5, 4 Wheel Disc, T-Tops, ZR1 rims w/ fairly new tires, True dual exhaust system (ridiculously loud), 4 gen seats, and probably a bunch of other things I forgot

I looked for an IROC for a couple of years b4 I bought mine this summer. I was looking for an 89 w/ as many options I caould find. Doing all the research I did I could hardly find one w/ everything. If you want as many options as possible try and find an 87 IROC. They only came w/ a 350 and mostly every option possible, since was the first year for them w/ a 350. But if your set on a 89 go try and find the G92. Correct me if Im wrong but didnt all IROCs come w/ all power options.
