Magnum TPI--Correction On HP Numbers
Inadvertently got the dyno numbers wrong over the phone with Second Street Speed. If anyone cares to check out the actual numbers, refer to this thread on CZ28.com.
I apologize for the error.

Oh, yeah that seems much more reasonable. I like my MAF again now. :sillylol:
Can't wait to get the issue with the latest article and pictures. I am thankful somebody is putting 3rd gens in their book with more than just the usual "cheap mod's even poor folks can afford".
I look forward to seeing a 3rd gen with a cool custom engine built by a top name in the business. With the latest and best electronics available. Why not? Go for it. Our cars deserve it too!

That looks more reasonable. Thanks again Johnny.
I too enjoy seeing motors like these. Although I have a 355 shortblock w/ forged pistons and the stock crank and rods, I have a SuperRam, AFR 190's and LPE 219 cam. I'm happy to see these numbers.
Johnny, you should be good for solid 11's N/A with that TQ MONSTER if you can get traction. The Vette guys w/ identical combos as mine on 383's are running 11.5's-12.5's at 110-117 MPH. These combos make excellent street engines IMHO, good power up to 6000 rpm and tons o' TQ. Nothing radical but still a quick car that drives GREAT.
Let's see what that thing does at the track N/A, and with a 150-200 shot

Wow. When I first heard the "95hp with MAF removed" comment I wanted to find a dark hole to climb in. I feel better seeing the corrected #s. Keep up the good work Johnny! Looking forward to my next issue . . .

I've noticed that it's the "Jack *** Know-It-Alls" that ruin threads on this board, not the "bunch of flaming kiddies". Some of you guys need to get over yourselves and let those of us that want to educate ourselves do so.
tpi_roc, keep up the good work. I'm sorry that I may have added fuel to the fire but I had to say it.

I understand the frustration and source of some of these posts, however I really dont think that this needs to be taken out in every thread that Johnny posts in. Its not expected for everybody to get along, and usually with confidence comes arrogance and with knowledge comes confidence. There are some "Jack *** Know-It-Alls" (Defined by their attitude) that naturally do NOT know it all, but may very well be more versed in some subjects than anybody else on the board. Everything you get here is free money so to speak, and to b*tch about what you get for free is childish. There's no need for board on board warfare. Spreading the knowledge across all boards in my opinion is more than welcome and granted it might come on a little strong, but its none the less usefull.
We've all got our strong suites and I imagine that some of you people getting bent out of shape have bent just as many other people out of shape that weren't as interested in what you do as you are.
Lets let Johnny now post his threads in peace, and save warfare for email or pms.

I've watched you get frustrated at people not answering your questions, at first I respected your work efforts and posts, now you come across arrogant and childish, so far you haven't done anybody a "favor" and you're only jabbing at the well respected members who have been a tremendous resource to the tuning community. Nobody here gets paid for this, and its not your right to come in and get pissy when you dont get "free money". I recommend you think about it and try to retain a relationship here where you can keep working with some key people. Just because you dont get the answer you want it doesn't mean you didn't get the correct answers.
Its not that your personality is wrong, its that there are boundries in society that we have to live around, it just so happens that this site (or at least this board) has opted for a cleaner atmosphere, you should certainly respect those wishes and keep your posts technical without the attitude and insults.

All I know is that without this boards help, I would have sold my car a long time ago out of frustration. The information that thirdgen.org has given me over the years, has been such a help, it is unimagineable.
