I own an 87 350 TPI and am running the stock 192. I'v heard alot of guys are starting to run 180 but don't run a 160 unless you are going to change your prom. Hope this helps.

He means drill two seperate 1/8" holes in the outter frame of the
thermostat. This will allow some coolant flow even when the
thermostat is closed. It also keeps steam and air pockets purged
from the block, it's an old racers trick but it works. I usually drill
one hole in any thermostat I install, except for some Fords that
already have an air vent in them as a stock item.

Customer cars get one hole, personal cars get two holes and I
put three or four in my hot rods depending on how quickly they
get hot.

Drill two holes in the thermostat flange between the center hole
and the outter edge that contacts the manifold.
