Corvette TPI intake questions

I bought a corvette TPI intake off of E-bay and overall it is in very good shape. This weekend I pulled the bottom heat shield off and noticed four large plug fittings in the intake. I removed all of them and notice that there were holes drilled into the runner portion of the intake from the passage that runs under the intake. This did not look factory. I looks like someone was trying to equalize the pressures in all of the runners of the intake.

I do not have a picture at this time of it but can take one and post it. I want to install this intake and hook my EGR back up because I have L98 alluminum heads and need this intake to do it. Thanks if you can help.

Thats the PCV system. Instead of the holes being cast into the intake, it has the big holes that the caps were in below them. Then during final machining, they drill the PCV holes into the runners, and tap and plug those access holes that you found.

Thanks Ed for the help. :hail:

Was not sure what to think about those holes. I will plug them as you said before I install it.
