Will the ford SVO 24lbs injectors work in our 3rd gens? just wondering because they are always cheaper..

Yes they fit, but to get the engine running efficiently you'll need a chip burned with the injector rate set to match. Some people have been able to dial down their fuel pressure and run OK, others have run horribly until they got the software set correctly.

 

yes the 24's will work. and like said above, u will need to make sure everything is running efficently. im going to be putting soem 30# SVO's on my 406 *sooner or later* and ill have to get another chip burned and drop my fuel pressure down to soemwhere between 43-47 psi *its at 59-60 now.

 

I was pretty sure they would work but just wanted to MAKE sure..as for chip burning no problem I have all the stuff to make my own.. thanks again guys.

 

Make sure you get the SVO injectors for the late 80's/early 90's stang. The newer style injectors are different and will not work.
