i have a 89 iroc 350 car runs roughi put new plugs, wires,cap rotor,left the wires they were still good.but it has a rough idle and the motor runs pritty rough i changed the throdle position sensor and im pritty sure its gonna need a new maf could that cause it to run that bad or should i be looking at a deeper problem

 

Did you change the wires or not? you said you did, then you said you didn't.


Also Dont replace your MAF "Just cuz" thats quite a bit of money to "just spend" Do you have an SES light?

 

i left the old wires they were still good.whats the SES lights?im gonna hold off on the maf becuse of the price but i know its gonna need a new one

 

Wires can be just as benificial as plugs if not more so.


Also your EST module is a possibliity if you have a miss.


SES is your service engine soon light

 

change your o2 and iac....and wires will benefit more then plugs...they may look good but the inside can be fried
