Where do these hook up?
Two quick questions:
1. Just got a new PCV valve and associated hose. The hose came from GM and thus it's "pre-bent", so the ends of it should point to wherever they should hook up. I can tell as much as it must go to something under the TPI plenum, but I can't tell where it actually hooks up. [picture attached]

2. Hard piece to describe... it has two vacuum tubes comming out of it, and an electrical connector on the back. It sits on the back of the engine towards the firewall and near the distributor, and I bet the coil sits on top of it. It's got two holes for mounting--but I cannot tell to *what* it actually mounts. For now, it's just sitting there. Any idea where it mounts? [picture attached; part is at the bottom of the picture, by the distributor hole--this is a "before" picture, BTW

I'm sure I'll kick myself when I realize where they go, but this is the first time I've worked on an L98 and it's been a few months since I took it apart.
Thanks; more to come, I'm sure...

Pic 1 - There is a fitting on that side of the intake mainfold (not the plenum) that it mates up with. IT is kind of hard to see it in there.
Pic 2 - EGR solenoid. I don't remember where mine mounted . . . can't help you there. Mine is "free-floating" behind the plenum.

I have a 92 350 so there may be slight differences but....
1. The PCV hose gets connected to a nipple on the intake manifold. Mine is straight and not bent like yours.
2. The coil does mount on that. There should be a bracket that mounts below the bracket you have pictured. Not sure what it bolts to. Too much crap in the way.

1. there should be a fitting in the intake manifold base for the
PVC hose
2. that solenoid mounts between your coil and coil bracket. The connector for it has two vacuum lines going in to it and and there is a plug in connector in back. Vacuum lines for that run to the EGR and underneath the throttle body.

Well, I figured out where the other end of the PCV hose goes. The reason that I "just couldn't find it" was that I had taped off the gasket surfaces and the areas around them when I had the intake manifold off, and I had also unscrewed the hose "plug". Didn't have a clue where it was until I pulled the tape off.
I'm still stumped on the EGR solenoid, though. Sounds like I need a bracket to mount it on, and the coil on the other side of the solenoid. Makes sense, but I don't see any place to mount a bracket.
Mabye the bracket will turn up, though, then it will make more sense. Tried real hard to make sure I kept everything extremely organized for this rebuild, and just now as I'm finishing up am I starting to loose things!
If anyone knows where the bracket mounts up to (on the engine), let me know. (And if it mounts to the back of the driver's side head, I'm going to cry!)
Thanks

I know how you feel. I thought I was extremely organized when I rebuilt a coupla engines. Baggies and a sharpie.
I ended up losing bolts and had extras. It sucks when you have extras and have to hope that none of them were very important.

EGR solinoid mounts to the last 2 bolts on the intake on the RH side of the car. By the looks of the picture you have the bracket sitting there already but it looks like the whole solinoid assembly is upside down.

You have the EGR crap where its supposed to be. There is a bracket that they have said in earlyier posts that bolts to the back two intake bolts, and then you put the EGR soilnode there and the coil goes on top where 2 bolts tighten it down. I have the bracket in my garage. but I dont have a digital camera
