I hate to bug y'all with a dumb question, but...

I've searched to no avail. I'm converting to TPI from TBI, and am up to the EGR solenoid. I know the vacuum comes from the TB to the solenoid, then goes from the solenoid to the EGR, but which hose goes where on the solenoid? There's a fitting in line with the solenoid, and one offset, just below it. One has a metal nipple and the other is plastic. I don't have the original lines to give me any clue. Thanks very much for your help.

If I understand what you are asking correctly, the line that comes out of the top side of the solenoid goes to the EGR, the bottom one goes to the throttle body.

Thanks. I got the thing running now, timed it, and didn't get any codes after resetting the ecm from timing it. That pic was some help, but you can't quite see where they go. KS, that's how I had them, so I guess it's right. Thanks fellas. BTW, here's a pic of the new tpi setup. It sure wasn't as easy as it's made out to be, or I'm just getting too old for this stuff.
