Can Ford SVO 30# injectors be used with a GM TPI setup, Do they have the mounting and dimentions as the stock GM injectors.

Thanks for your answers.

Yes they work fine, but what are you using 30s for? I home its at least a 383 or a 400 cause you dont neec injectors that big. I have 24s on mine and there plenty, but yes to answer your question they go right in. You may need some prom burning but thats no biggie.

SVO injectors suck. I had a brand new set of 24# pounders.... and they all started leaking after a couple of months. That's why my next set is Accells.

Yes, they are for a superram 383. It 'll be interesting to know which brand is better and why.

Yea, they must suck pretty bad, being made by Bosch and all...

BTW, in case you didnt know, Accels are made by Bosch too. Getting Accel wont help you get away from the manufacturer that made your SVO injectors.

There is no 'better brand'. With 30# injectors though, you MUST reprogram the chip. There's no choice in the matter. They fit fine in the stock location, just make sure the o-rings are correct (some earlier ones had small o-rings that would not seal properly) and you're good to go. If the o-rings arent right, just get a set of new GM ones. I'd make sure to use the clips too, even though many dont.

30lbs injectors?

Thirty pound injectors are awefully big I'm running the 24 lbs speed pro injectors at around 60 to 65 psi and I'm able to make 450 hp with my super ram 383 and I've got 11:1 compression and a really good flowing head. When I built the motor I did a lot of reasearch on the subject of injector sizing, and learned quite a bit, you might want to give TPIS a call and see what they think www.tpis.com or 1(612)448-6021
