K I was told that its ok to go from a Small port to a Big port because there is No Buildup, whereas it is bad to go from a big port to a small port, because the fuel bounces up and back. I will do my best to get them cleaned up for a 1206 but any tips will help.
Here is the one pic I found

You can go from a smaller intake port to a larger head port without hurting the flow. However check the 2nd picture Bort posted for me.

There is very little material there to seal against a 1206 opening. In fact,, in my opinion you need to weld up the intake to run it on heads already opened to 1206's in their standard location. While I still don't understand why a tunnel ram intake doesn't have enough meat to open up the ports to at least a 1206 (if not a 1207) --- it's really no big deal,, just about any machine shop can add a bead or two of weld to the top of the intake ports and machine it - call around for prices,,, around here prices vary greatly!!

The problem with adding a bead of material to the top of the manifold is that after you are done, you will have to get the manifold milled flat. And most likely after that you will have to mill the intake face of the head to match for a "proper" fit
I have a solution that should work for just about anybody anyhow....i am starting a new thread on it
