If I open the area up more where the arrow is, will it hurt the fuel flow? Notice the little hill that is already there from the bung, me cleaning more out of it cant hurt anything, I just have to wacth how close I come to the edge for the gasket correct?

The ideal finish job on that area will make a smooth transition from the main runner into the head. Open it up as much as you feel is prudent, keep in mind making the intake larger than the head opening is a very bad idea though. Also keep in mind that bigger isn't always better. I havemt' seen the SR up close yet so i don't know exactky what the ange into the head looks like, but considering the overall manifold design is great, i doubt it needs much fixing to get the transition right there.
In short, unless the transition from runner to head isn't a smooth curve, don't open it up unless you're going to open th ewhole runner up some more. Just making the head face larger is bad for performance if the runner leading up to it is smaller...
