Transmission: A4
Plenum porting
Can anyone explain how to port a plenum because i´m buying TPIS large tube runners and they are going to flow better if i fix the plenum. And i will ad an AFPR, anyone were i can get a new one cheap?? what gains will i see on stock 350?

previous posts and found lots of other info on porting the plenum but I still have 2 questions...
1. The gaskets (FelPro 93035-1 or GM equivalent)
Where can I buy these?? And are they necessary?? Couldn't I just reuse the old gaskets???
2.The torque specifications??? How do I know if I tightened the bolt 15ft/lbs?? I usually just tighten things till I can't tighten them anymore

As for your second question you should be using a tool called a torq wrench. They're not cheap though. Try borrowing one from someone you know.
Remember don't steal one that would be wrong.
