Is this the right head casting number? Urgent!!

Just wondering if this is the right casting number for L98 heads. i found a pair in the junkyard. 14102191. I checked it out on a website and it said they were 87 and up 350. I just wanted to make sure they were for L98's. thanx

No, That casting is used on TBI 350 trucks. You are looking for casting 14101083.

Those head casting numbers are for a 350 EFI 1.94 Intake 1.5001 Exhaust. They are the EFI Swirl Port design made from 1986-1988 by GM...I don't have the info wheather they are L98 heads but that sounds like a good set of heads to me if they are not cracked or warped too badly.

Those I believe are the earlier version of the true swirl port castings and those heads are horrible for flow. Keep searching for the '083' castings.
