Why would my engine "bog down" when..
I had the car warm... the coolant was at least 180 and the oil at least 150 or 160 and the car had been running for 10 min. I have a '91 L98 ('vette) with auto tranny. It has the mods in my sig plus a K&N. It didn't seem like the ignition was missing some im kind of wondering why when I floored it on a country road that it took probably 4 seconds to go from 1000 to 3000? There seemed to be less tq/hp at that level too. Usually when warm it will shoot up to 4000 or 4500 in about a second if i floor it. One other thing the car suddenly died a week ago when idling at a light. Could these be related? Just want to make sure nothing serious is wrong...thanks for any suggestions/help!
Probably related, I had very similar problems recently but I prom burn and it was just me goofin around with the eproms and some pins not making contact.
Is your service engine light on?
Or do you have access to a scan tool for data pulls
