Which aftermarket runners are better??
There is no difference between stock 305 and 350 TPI runners, other than left side-to-right side differences. The '85-'88s (with cold start injector) are slightly different than the '89-'92s (no cold start injector).
You can clean up the entrances to each runner very slightly. There is not a whole lot there to work with.

I believe the difference is called "wheel abrading".
Just a fancy way of saying GM spent 12 cents (or thereabouts) more on the 'Vette runners than the F-body version.
A couple of years back I sent my GTA tuned port to Street & Performance (in Arkansas) to be cleaned up and they sent it back with the "abraded" finish.
For what its worth---the F-body "non-abraded" versions polish easier.

From what Ive read the Lingenfelter Accel superram plenum and runner setup is the way to go. According to the book I read it kicked *** on any other aftermarket big runners set. Im going to get one with a 58mm throttle body and 1 3/4" headers and 3" cat back (either flowmaster american thunder or HOoker with aerochamber). That should be a nice setup for my 91 350 formula. All I need is money.
