Changing the fuel pressure

Can changing the fuel pressure create a rich or lean condition or does the o2 sensor compensate for the changes. The reason I ask, is because it seems as though my cat went bad and it's only 6 months old.

Within reason changing your fuel pressure (a few psi) should only really effect WOT performance, and maybe a bit of open loop conditions. The 02 will *try* to counter act to much/little fuel when the ecm is in closed loop.
