Check Ball In Fuel Pump
Does anyone know where the check ball in the fuel pump is located and if it is serviceable .....i have started to notice after leting the vett sit over night it takes longer to start i checked the fuel pressure after shuting it off and it quickly goes to 0psi in less then a min ...now i would asume that the check ball is stuck ,can i fix it or is it time for a new one .

I'm not sure that's your problem. I'm on my 2nd fuel pump in the IROC that's done that. My pressure bleeds instantly, but the car still fires quickly.
I've also verifed that it's the pump that's not allowing the pressure to hold, and not an injector or the FPR.

There isn't a "check ball" in the fuel pump. It is a diaphram type checkvalve and is inside the pump which is a crimp sealed unit, no service possible. If everything points to the fuel pump and you are set on changing it, check it when you get it removed by blowing in the upper end and see if air comes out the bottom. If no air comes out then the pulsator could be bad.
