hey my friend wants to buy a camaro iroc 1989 CHEVROLET CAMARO, Iroc, Z28, 307, V8, OD, at, fully equip, 80k mi, all stock, garage kept, like new in & out, maroon w/ grey int, $6500
is there really a 307 and if so just how fast is it. thank i would apreciate it my friend needs to know by this sunday.

 

It's most likely a typo, but there was a Chevy 307 made in the early 70s. I think it was a short stroke motor similar to 327s, so it made it's power in the upper RPMs. I'd rather not mess with it personally, but that's just me. You might get some different opinions from ppl who have actually played with one.

There was never one from the factory in a thirdgen if that's what you're asking.

 

thanks yeah i wanted to know that if there was one made in 89 cause im tring to find out cause tha guys all like yeah it a 30 7 not a 305 but i dident thikn there was one made thanks for clearing things up for me.

I had no problems with my 307, with nearly 300,000 miles and about 400 1/8 drag passes it has faired pretty well.
