As far as hp gains, you'll see MAYBE 2 at the most, from either filter. I don't know much about the Holley filters, but I've got nothing bad to say about K&Ns.

lol, i can't believe people still think there is HP in an air filter. If you're looking for max flow, don't run any filter at all. Especially if you're just looking for that last little bit, unless you race on the worst track around you're not gonna suck up anything that will hurt the engine.

The nice things about KNs, etc is that you can clean them often so that performance doesn't degrade from runnning a dirty filter. One of the saddest things i see/hear though are people that also actually buy into the 50k miles between cleanings or whatever BS is on the KN literature.

check out june 2002 hot rod mag ...air filters shootout
results as follows in aproximate air flow rate /price
purolator (stock) 2,518cfm / 5.99
K&N 2,988cfm/ 69.99
holley 3,068cfm/ 39.99

engine dyno runs with the filters (same engine )
purolator 368.7 hp 443.5 tq
k&n 368.7hp 444.5 tq
holley 367.2hp 444.6 tq

I would say HP is dam sure not in a filter !
