Yet Another TPI Swap

OK I've got a 88 TPI setup off a 305 thats is going into a car that has no wiring or anything at all. Its currently non-cc carb.

If I buy a Howell Harness for a Speed Density TPI setup, buy a MAP sensor and get a SD ECM, will this work. I currently do not have a wiring harness or ECM forthe TPI setup, basically I got the lower intake, plenum runners, fuel rails, throttlebody and distributor, along with the 19lb injectors

I know also that I need these sensors. Can anyone name others that I will need.

CTS(coolant temp sensor)
Knock Sensor
MAP(manifold pressure)
TPS(throttle position)
Oil Pressure(does this one do anything with the ECM?)
O2 Sensor(oxygen)
22lb injectors

Thanks

I just did the same thing on my 71 Blazer using a 91 setup. Since you need an ECM and harness anyway, go ahead and get a 730 ECM, MAP sensor and the Howell speed density harness. I don't have any experience with aftermarket harnesses, but I heard Howell is good. Theres also a MAT (manifold abolute temp) sensor, but I think that's just for EGR. I don't run EGR, but I left the MAT on. The oil pressure sensor is a backup for the fuel pump relay. It closes at 27 psi and sends power to the fuel pump. I don't run one. If you go with a speed density setup, you will need a chip with the VATS deprogramed. I got mine from Jim's Performance for $140 (great customer service BTW) but you can do it yourself for a couple bucks more.

Emphasis on "SPEED" density. Yet another sensor near the transmission.
