LG4 to TPI

Has anyone ever swapped TPI onto an LG4? What were the results? Is it worth it? I'm really sick of having a carb!

The LG4 was the base carb'd motor put into Camaro's/Firebirds. Currently my motor has NO sensors on it at all because the computer was taken out.

Well its swapable, you would of course need all the sensors components, and harness. You would also have to swap on a set oc centrbolt heads, which the TPI is designed to mount to.

You better change that cam in there though, otherwise your still gonna have that 165 hp peanut cam!

So the TPI won't bolt up to my heads?

It will bolt up. You may have to elongate the center holes in the manifold, though.

Yes, you coudl do that, but the centerbolt heads have larger valves and slightly better flow numbers!

I guess its a money issue, but if your gonna yank that intake, i would recommend going the extra step and getting that anemic cam the hell outta there!
