Is my fuel pump dieing?
Ok, first of all sometimes when I start the car, its starts, then dies. After a few times it starts up and away we go. Then when I'm almost out of gas and I make a turn kinda quick, the car just boggs like its going to die, then a second later it shoots off. One time it did die. If it is the pump, where do I get a good one? Should I just get the oem one or find some aftermarket one. How long does it take to replace, keep in mind that I'm a lazy college student.

The problem you are having while nurning when low on fuel is not the fuel pump. That is a common problem with 3rd gems. GM later put in a different fuel pick-up tube to cure that problem but it's nothing to worry about. I actually like that mine does it because it lets me know when it's time to get gas. it'll start doing that with like 1.5 gallons left in my car. I'm not real good about watching the fuel gauge because I've always been able to rely on the car letting me know when it's thirsty. More info than you wanted anyway.
As for changing it... should it be the cause of your starting problem. You have to drop out the rear axle(4 bolts) and the exhaust. Then drop the fuel tank to access the pump from the top of the tank.

When you get the pump, make sure you either get an OEM pump or a high quality aftermarket pump. DOn't go with Autozone or checker or anything like that. They don't last very long and I'd be pissed if I had to replace another pump in my Z 6 mo to a year later.
