89 runners on a 87?
Can 89 AS&M runners be used on a 87 TPI system?
I'll be switching to an aftermarket intake base, but not sure which one yet.
Thx..

Yes,however the cold start injector would have to be deleted. The 89 and up tpi cars used the ecm for start up fuel enrichment...

If I could plug off the cold start inj hole, would the 87 computer be upset abt the cold start inj not being connected?
If so, I assume that could be handled by a custom prom, but I'm not that far down the prom-burning road yet.
Also, if inj hole was plugged, would it be noticeable to the smog check guy, or would it be covered up?
Thx!!

No it would run fine. You should really get an updated MEMCAL for your car from GM with the cold start deleted.
