will i be able to use 305 injectors on a 350? the guy i bought my 87 GTA said it had a 350 he lied it has a 305 TPI engine the gta suppose to have a 350 from what he vin says. Thats way my gta only ran 15.9 at 86mph with 3.45 gears. So i have a Recon engine a 88 L98 that i am putting in it so will i be able to use 305 injectors for a while. Thanks

 

Yes, you can easily run a mild 350 with a completely stock 305 MAF setup. The MAF measures airflow and the ECM injects fuel accordingly. It doesn't care how big the engine is, just that it knows how big the injectors are. Which is why you need to change chips when swapping injectors.

 

i did the same thing using the 19lb injectors with the 350 and it runs fine.First time out at the track with it I ran a 9.3 (1/8) not too bad for a 1500 rpm launch(didn't want to spin)
