ZZ4 to TPI?

The zz4 come with a intake manifold for a carb. Is switching to TPI the same was as any other engine? I hope so. Brain storming and came up with getting the zz4 engine and swapping to tpi. I think it sounds like a good idea i dont want to deal with a carb right now.

Yes its the same. You might have to oblong the bolt holes depending on what heads you have. The TPI will really ristrict the the HP of the ZZ4. I lost ~50hp from keeping the stock TPI. I'm now going to the LT1 intake and a much bigger cam.

If you have the time and knowledge I stongly suggest building your own motor. It'll be cheaper and perform better. I didn't have a choice when I got mine. My motor blew and I needed a drop in replacement, fast.
