I need a little help i am very worried about something I planned on taking my 1989 gta 350tpi and putting about $3000 into the motor i want about 325rwhp, I here alot of people saying that the tuned port just wont give you more than 300hp i also here that i am not goin to have the top end i want is this true? i know i need to have a bigger throttle body and runners is that enough? I am looking at buying a 350 or 383 not sure which yet.what i need to know is whare i can get one for 2500-3000 that i will be happy with i need at least 300 rear wheel hp say 375-400 at the flywheel.

 

You could get that if you buy aftermarket intake manifold and runners and then por tthe hell outta both of them and the plenum and match all three. The get a larger throttle body and you could get what you want.

 

this is for Irocz89 I have just about all the mods you do allready except the headers and cold air, you think i can get what I want in adition to a new engune or the one I have,the other ? I have for you is my car seems fast with the mods i have but not as fast as it should be i am waiting for my gtech meter to find out but i really only think its running mid to high 14s i think i should be in the low 14s what do you think.
