Cleaning T.P.I.

I have a car that sat for a long time. I want to clean up the TPI intake, runners, throttle body. They have developed some oxidization. What would be the best to clean cant remember if u can use Castrols cleaner,I believe its called super clean. Would that be a good one or is there something better, used carb cleaners but just knocked off the rough stuff. Thanks for any help.

you can use that, just dont let it sit on there too long or it will eat up the aluminum. i like to use a heavy cleaner like superclean and a scotch brite pad. that usually does the trick
good luck

I used SOS pads with some success

Degrease it with Castrol Super Clean cut 50/ 50 with water so it does'nt eat the paint, and use a stiff wire brush and mother aluminum mag wheel polish to shine those runners and Ac lines.
