Sorry, it's been a long day.

The medium sized rectangle in the center is the EGR passage.

Ummm....are you sure you want to do that engine work yourself??

Those little round holes are called "bolt holes". If you don't know what they are then go back inside and smoke some MORE weed until you get it...

sorry, it was a long night after getting frustrated with my car, I only saw the pic, didnt have a head to look at, and i didnt even think of bolt holes. I dont know what I thought that EGR hole was.

Really Im not that dumb

I pulled the intake off today, got diff. gaskets that blocked it off, and the car is back on the road after 5 months

Hey byrd, what kind of gasket set did you get that blanks off the EGR ports on the older heads to mate to the LT1 intake flange?

not sure exactly what it was, I went into a speed shop around here, told them what I need, and they gave it to me.

Its an intake gasket with a thin metal plate molded into the gasket over that hole

I'm real busy between hitting a dear last night, and a funeral today and all, but in the next few days I'll find out for ya.
